*What is Authentic Alignment Photography?
Your intentionally created photo collection is a tool that tells the story of your business and your offerings, in a collection of 25 expressive images. In essence, it aligns you with resonant clients and collaborators. In our fast-paced, visual society, your imagery lets your audience get a "feel" for what you do in an instant. It's visual storytelling focused on the essence and identity of your business. Together we'll collaborate to define and capture the core elements of your work in an artful and meaningful way, then create engaging and versatile images that can be used for websites, business cards, social media, flyers, logos, product packaging, etc. If you are in the process of building or re-branding your website, your imagery can be a perfect anchor to build your content around. Not only is this process valuable for connecting you with like-minded clients, it also gives you a visual reminder of the meaningful work you are doing in the world. As busy entrepreneurs, it's easy to get disconnected from that piece! Who do you like to work with?
I love collaborating with passionate entrepreneurs that are not only offering their clients services, but offering them change; physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual change. Wellness practitioners, soul-supporters, authors, artists, counselors, food alchemists, etc. What draws you to this type of photography? In my ten years as a photographer, my favorite part has always been watching people unfold into their own unique realness in front of my camera. People (children and adults) often start a session trying to figure out what they are supposed to do so that we can capture what they think they are supposed to look like. During the session there is often a beautiful moment where the subject realizes they don't have to do anything, they just get to be. And that that is worth capturing. It's when the magic happens on film. Another deeply meaningful aspect for me is being able to support people who are supporting others. Before I landed in photography, I always knew I'd eventually work in some sort of healing profession as well, so being able to collaborate with practitioners who are doing amazing work and to be a bridge that connects them with people who need their work, feels incredible. |
How does it work?
I usually meet with people for two sessions. The first is an exploratory session where I come into your space (in person or virtually) and we delve into defining what you are offering your clients and how we can capture the essence of that on film. In the next session, we shoot! You of course, as well as the objects, details and surroundings that you feel represent you and your work. It's such an inspiring creative process! What if I'm not totally sure yet what my offerings are or how to present them? Great! This process can be a very helpful way to get clear and centered into what you'd like to offer and how you want to project your work to the world. What is the financial investment? The rate for the two sessions + your collection of 25 handcrafted, high resolution digital images is $450. *If you are only needing a few straightforward yet authentic headshots, a 20 minute session is $190 and includes 7 digital files. |
